We do hand guided quilting (no computers involved- Mari's not allowed), ranging from basic edge to edge designs- to more complex custom quilting.
Prices are based on the exact size of your quilt- we charge by the inch- with prices ranging from $0.015 (basic) to $0.10 ( complex custom) per inch. Our turnaround time is typically 6-8 weeks, but does fluctuate.
You may bring your own batting, or buy it from us, though it must be 10" bigger than your quilt top.
We have a selection of thread colors available and are happy to help you pick from our selection!
Requirements for Your Project:
-Your backing must be *12" bigger than your top.
-Your quilt should be pressed, and free of any holes, or incomplete seams.
-If your project has been set on point -it must either have a border, or you must zig zag around the edges of your quilt.

Below we have included a chart of a rough range of what your cost may be. Prices range greatly depending on your chosen patterns, but most quilting falls within the average range.
Please keep in mind that there is no true standard sizing for quilts- so your project will very likely measure differently than those examples- they are simply meant to give you an approximation! |
Extra Services and Fees
- Rush Fees: If you need your quilt finished before our standard turnaround time, extra time is required on our part to ensure your quilt is done, and no one else is displaced. Since we don't enjoy working extra hours without extra pay, the following fees will apply: Four Weeks: $50 Two Weeks: $75 One Week:$100 -Piecing Fee: If your project needs any seams reinforced or added, we charge $20 per seam. Note: Quilting over a hole in your quilt does not stabilize it, but it can stretch it (aka make it bigger!) We promise we're not being snobby, we just want the best for your quilts! Binding: We charge $0.25 per linear inch to apply binding for you. (We use the tedious, hand stitching method because we're all bad at machine binding...) |
