Clue 9:
Make 48
 
General Instructions and hints: Use a quarter inch seam allowance. Sew your fabrics right sides together.
Press towards the darker fabric. Use the images to ensure correct placement and directions.
WOF= Width of Fabric.
 
Needed Fabrics:
Nothing ! just grab the pieced triangles from clue 5, and the extended triangle from clue 7.

Grab your pieced triangles from clue 5- and the extended triangles from clue 7.
You’re going to sew them together to make forty-eight squares.  

Trimming:
Since this is a weird variation of a quarter square triangle- we’re going to trim them up a bit differently than normal:

​​Start by lining your ruler up against the “rectangle” from A and trimming to 2 ½”.

​Now twist the unit one side over (clockwise) and trim I ¼” from where the triangles meet in the center.

​Flip it over 180 degrees- and trim to 2 ½” ( from the edge you just cut).

And you’re done!  There should be no need to trim up that 4th edge (we want to maintain those measurements as they are!)
You should have 48 of these little guys, measuring 2 ½”.
