Clue Six: (make Eight) General instructions: Read all instructions thoroughly before sewing anything. Use a ¼” seam allowance. Sew your fabrics right sides together. WOF= Width of Fabric. HST= Half Square Triangle. Use the images to ensure correct placement, and directions. If you’re spending too much time with “jack the seam ripper” it might be time to take a break! Yardage Needed for this clue: Fabric A: 1/3 yard Fabric B: 1/3 yard In addition: grab the 4 ½” squares from clue 4. Piecing: Row one: ( Make Eight) Square A, HST, Square B. Press seams. Row two: (Make Eight) HST, Square B, HST. Press seams. Row three: (Make Eight) HST, HST Square A. Press Seams. Sew all the rows together. Press seams. Your eight blocks will measure 12 ½” square.
